What the block brought together

Member and guest activity
Page and user tracking
Daily, monthly and yearly statistics
Administration and cPanel shortcuts

Why it existed

The project began as a way to reduce the number of separate PHP-Nuke blocks needed for everyday administration. It evolved through four documented versions, adding section controls, online-member displays, content queues, user-defined links, avatars, statistics and a configurable tracking view.

What survived

The local backup contains the complete 4.0 beta PHP source, the original graphics, eight SQL definitions, installation notes and its GPL licence. A matching 2006 download page was recovered from the Wayback Machine, allowing the original package to be tied to its public release record.

Publication status

The preserved original contains one historical tracker record with a username and IP address. The original remains unchanged in private preservation storage; the downloadable archive copy removes that row and replaces its historical database name in the SQL export headers.

Version history

  • Version 1: consolidated login and administration functions and introduced revised graphics.
  • Version 2, September 2004: added section selection, Who Is Where, statistics updates and layout cleanup.
  • Version 3, March 2005: added waiting content, user-defined links, administration controls, image preferences and the tracker.
  • Version 4, March 2006: updated PHP-Nuke compatibility, added DHTML administration, cPanel access and expanded statistics controls.

Preserved source

Read the source

The complete reviewed PHP and SQL source, installation notes and GPL are presented as inert text. The public SQL copies replace the historical database name and remove one tracker seed row containing a username and IP address.
