A PHP-Nuke reference for the modem commands once needed to configure dial-up connections reliably.
What it did
Dial-up modems often needed model-specific command strings to negotiate correctly. This module brought those settings into the Smurftech reference site in a form that support staff and visitors could browse.
Where it came from
The information grew from the earlier OzEmail worksite and static Smurftech support pages. Turning it into a module is a clear example of the same knowledge being carried through several generations of the site.
What survived
The working Evolution-era module, its interface graphics and copyright record are present in the local backup.

Read the source
Smurftech’s module source and original copyright notice are presented as inert text. Transfer logs and desktop thumbnail databases are excluded as irrelevant working metadata.
